The lists I have seen that nonmerci put together are fantastic compilations of the priority timelines.

I've compiled a nonpriority one for myself with the non-priority Feb/March/April dates, and it's not nearly as thrilling. XD

Haha, don't say that! It's thrilling for those people in it!  ;D

Would you like to post it?

** It looks wonky because I did this in Excel like a nerd. And excuse my bit of rambling at the end.

Key: date (docs received by Sheffield) recipient date (email from Sheffield) Business days total (excluding public hols)

Feb-27     cassie.cassie     May-09    50

Feb-27     jahewitt            May-12    53

Feb-27     OPA17              May-16     55

Feb-27     theyreinn17      May-17    56

Feb-27     kathwill60         May-17     56*

Feb-28     sammyab (Kuwait)

Mar-02    Smelton            May-11    49

Mar-03     marenleigh

Mar-06    elliemaemc

Mar-29     kjningc

Apr-13     purplepeopleeater

Apr-20     natoley

Apr-24     me

Apr-24    RappaGos

May-15    AmericanMom

Based on the average of those reported, it is taking about 53.167 business days.

Obviously, there are some factors here.

We have one applicant from Kuwait so she's not really indicative of the whole trend, but I am interested in her turn around time if for nothing else but curiosity.

Also, some applicants might have switched from non-priority to priority but not reported it/gotten confirmation of a successful switch yet, which I think is the case for at least one person.

And I have no idea who has a "complicated" case from a "straightforward" one.

I could have very well missed someone as a non-priority or gotten a date wrong since I haven't seen some of the non-priority people as active as the priority people. If so, please let me know cause I'd love to update the list. This is kind of helping me to focus on something.

*Edit: I just looked in the Feb 27th non-priority and saw that one user reported getting a shipping notification on 17 May (without an email) so I adjusted the date to reflect that notification. The previous figure I reported was based on the day they physically received the visa. With this in mind, the new wait time went from 53.5 to 53.167.

Also for complete transparency, I used this website: https://www.timeanddate.com/date/workdays.html to calculate the total business days.

I set it to UK business days which excludes weekends and public holidays, and I included the end date in the calculation which does add one day in total to the end.

I had been counting days by hand and kept coming up with incorrect numbers due to a lack of sleep so I thought a website might do the job better.

Thanks solaire, great work!  ;D

Anything that takes your mind off the wait, right?  I was wondering where you were in the chart but I found you, haha!  :)

Yeah, quite literally from my Excel. I would get confused if I put down my username to be honest XD

New here. My husband and I are concerned about my Priority Spouse Visa. We have still not heard anything. He had to return to the UK with our son. We really don't want our son to miss school. A tenant moved into one of our properties (that I was staying in) today. I'm now staying with friends. I hope to join them soon. Should I be concerned?

Priority Application: April 5th
Biometrics: April 10th
Application Received (Sheffield): April 12th
Sheffield Confirmation: April 12th

Decision: ???

Hi UKBound. We have a priority timeline somewhere. You are on track though with a week or two more to wait likely.
Don't worry!  :)

Welcome! You have the exact same timeline as my son and daughter-in-law who also have not had a decision email yet on a priority application.  Hopefully this week you all will hear happy news.

I really appreciate you doing this so much! Also now I'm anxious I'm last! I hope someone else applies soon, ha!

Guys, DECISION EMAIL!

I switched from non-priority to priority just last week (bought it on Tuesday).  Never received a confirmation that it was switched, but obviously it was.

Sheffield received my docs 13 April.

Now I'm just waiting, hoping I can fly with the rest of the family and it's not a rejection...
Documents sent 10 April
Received: 13 April
Decision email: 22 May
Status: VISA APPROVED!
