Tax cheques to UK account?
« on: August 21, 2008, 12:12:24 PM »
So... apparently they did not direct deposit my tax refund/stimulus cheque to the bank account I provided so instead they are sending the cheques to my UK address.

Does anyone know if it is possible to deposit a US cheque here?

If so, what are the rules or do they vary by bank? I know I will get stung fees wise but there isn't really another option.

If you have a US account you should be able to deposit the cheque by post.

I had the same problem a month ago. Ended up posting the cheque to my sister in the USA who depositted it into my US account.
