During the transition to requiring KOL for settlement, they had a grace period for applicants who needed an extension in order to meet the requirement.
The grace period will close on 31 March.
The end of this grace period was always in the cards, and it is not a big deal. In fact, they did pretty good by keeping it open for so long.
Fortunately, the grace period never affected Americans because they were comming from an English speaking environment anyway. So if you read the announcement, and are wondering, you only need to worry if you can't pass the KOL test.
And if you can't pass the KOL test, there's something wrong anyway.
