Do I HAVE to change my name?
« on: February 07, 2006, 05:38:31 PM »
i've tried to search for relevant topics on this already...but i can't find any.  i've found tons of information on this site if i WANT to change my last name (i just got married last december)....but i have no intention of changing it on anything (passport, visa, credit cards, etc.), nor do i want to.  maybe it's a stupid question, but do i HAVE to change it? or even hyphenate it?  can anyone foresee any problems in me not changing it?

You don't have to do a thing if you don't want to change your name.  And, if you change your mind next week, next year, or even next decade, it's not too late.
