Letter for Post-Study Work Visa Application: Too Ambiguous?
« on: March 26, 2009, 11:44:32 AM »
Hello,

I posted a few days ago about my impending application for a Tier One post-study work visa. In short, I will be ineligible to apply after March 30th. I have now finished my course. I will not have my original certificate in time to send it with my application, so I have asked my school to write me a letter. I now have this letter and am concerned about one aspect: they have written the date of award as April 2, when the certificate will be issued. Could this cause problems/a refusal if I send it in as is?

Thanks

It depends on the actual wording.

Thanks for the response.

It is pretty explicit: it says "Date of Award: April 2". Of course, it also says the program finished as of the 24th and that I will receive the physical certificate on the second, as well.

I mean the whole wording of the actual letter.  You need to see if it conforms with the rules.

I am sending you a PM with the actual letter. I would be very grateful for you input.
