Parcel has arrived!!!      ;D    ;D

I'd saved several things to put in it, but that would put it over the 2k weight for the cheap second class mail, so I just put the "best" stuff in and took out a few more things than I would have otherwise. (OH THANK YOU TO WHOEVER PUT IN THE GRAVY MIX!!!!!!)

Photos of my loot are attached.  Had to take a separate photo of the powdered chili as the Daughter nicked it and was sitting at the kitchen table with it open, just inhaling the scent and making "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" noises and I couldn't get it back for a bit.  ;)

Albatross, PM me an address to send this on to and I'll try to get it out to you tomorrow or  Friday!

Oh, poor KoD... with this summer weather, she's been wanting "Ice box cake", and she could've used that pudding mix!  But, I suppose it's useless to her without the graham crackers to go with it.

Country gravy... ugh.  Now I want a Dairy Queen chicken fingers basket with gravy and fries, and that big slice of Texas toast.  *sigh*

Maybe I can be of assistance......rich tea biscuits work really well as a substitute for graham crackers! Just made a coconut cream pie from jello pudding and used them. As for country gravy......there are several websites here that sell it. After introducing my in-laws to country gravy, my FIL ordered a whole case! Lol

That gravy was a good catch.

Lolol. I put in all of that minus the pudding.  But I had paired the gravy to go with the biscuit mix. Lol

Digestives are even better!
Although I am desperate for jfkimberley to try out her idea of using Lotus/biscoff…. I bet that will be incredible!!

I had to google it!
Now I can see it's like the yummy bread that we used to get with our dinner in Sizzler...steak-house chain in CA.

Yes!  I'm going to bake soft white loaves when I have an oven again, and then I'm goig to slice some thick slices and toast them in the skillet.... and I'm going to find one of the country/southern gravy recipes from the interwebs and make a gallon.  Noms.... I will have the noms!
