Scarily, I almost forgot completely about July 4th.

So had I! We designated the 4th of July our cat's birthday because she was a rescue girl and they figured it was round about then!
Better look out the goodies!  ;D [smiley=balloon.gif] [smiley=balloon.gif] [smiley=balloon.gif]

What a beauty!

Cheers, I have a few. That one was given to me by my OH for a birthday present. I like that it's burnt orange!

I had two guitars in the US. I had to sell one (Epiphone) the first time I came to see my husband (then "good friend who I wanted more with") and the other - which isn't a brand name or anything - I've left with my dad in the US for the time being.

I was learning how to play so it's not like I'm missing out on a hobby I was good at haha but it still feels weird leaving something like that behind.

It will never leave you. The quest for rock n roll is righteous!

I've been playing for close to 20 years. The axe in the pic is a Grestch Electromatic. My main axe is a Yamaha Pacifica with Alnico Vs on it. I have an Ibanez Jem with Duncans, an Epi Les Paul Studio, a Tanglewood Acoustic and another random Acoustic I bought in Aspen CO.  At home I normally play through a Fender 30W Champion but every now and again the awesome power of Marshall must be released as demanded by the Gods of Rock! My Marshall is a JCM2000 Triple Super Lead 100W all tube with set of two 12" celestions; more than enough power to end the world!

My hearing is pretty bad now lol...

Did I mention that I am taking off work to go to the beach on July 4th?  Independence Day!

Me, too!  My parents and brother will be here so we're off to London to be the most obnoxious American tourists we can be.  Time to break out the fanny packs and the baseball visors.

My daughter is back on her trapeze lessons in Kensington GArdens.  It's a really pleasant day to hang around the park.

Feel no shame!  Sometimes you've just got to go with it.

Yes, and she's got a safety harness.  Not really too scary.

Hey Kiss of Death, did you see the "Secret Life of Circus Kids" on TV last night?  Plenty of hoop work going on.
