The Enterprise UK advert. I just saw it for the first time tonight. LOVE it.
Edit: Its tagline is "UK Car Hire, US Customer Service"

I was just going to post that one!

I found it made me feel embarrassed to be American and embarrassed to be living in the UK in equal measure ;)

Irn Bru adverts are so good, they almost make me want to drink Irn Bru. The Snowman is probably my favourite, but I also quite like the butcher one.

Been seeing the (new?) Irn Bru advert with the mum wearing a push-up bra and talking to her son and his pals.  'Group hug?'  ;)

I also like the  advert with the little orange squidgy character riding on the back of a bassett hound... it's for an energy company, but i can't remember which one.  I just like the hound.

Two series of radio adverts (as we don't have TV service) that I can't stand: 'Fire Kills' and 'You Didn't See (The Motorcyclist). There is something a bit creepy about the fire ones, I can't put my finger on it. But the motorcycle ones infuriate me; I've not yet seen one biker who doesn't bob and weave in and out of traffic, zoom up the centre line out of nowhere, and generally cut traffic up. Yes, drivers should be watchful but I'm sorry, so far the biking I've seen only consists of hazardous practices.

(I can understand riding close to the centre line, as I understand it it avoids looking like there is a break in traffic, but I'm talking riding it to pass everyone.)

DH goes bonkers over adverts -- any adverts. He tries to record everything with commercials so he can fast forward through them. Or else he sits there fuming with the sound on mute.
Me -- they're all new to me so I don't mind them  :)

I like the PG Tips adverts because I love that little crocheted monkey. :)
I also like that orange squidgy thing in the energy commercials. I think he's supposed to be a bird?  Anyway, I find it cute, even though I can't remember what the commercial is for (the brand).

My DH hates most commercials as well, BostonDiner. He mutes most of them, says how ineffective and stupid they are, and his latest beef: commercials that have a voice-over *and* music playing at the same time. He said, "Why not throw in a brass-band so my ears can truly be assaulted at all levels?"  He's nuts. LOL

A current commercial I hate: the PepsiMax commercial with Beyonce. I just can't stand her. Her "dancing" looks more like she's having a seizure to me.

One thing I had noticed about US commercials recently: more and more of them have voice-overs with British accents. I think the first one was the Geico Gecko but the more recent ones are posh accents. There's the Dyson dude, the Traveling Gnome and that other travel one that they have here but with different British accents. I kind of expected there would be reciprocal American accents here but haven't noticed any.

Really hating all the different trailers for 'The Mating Game', with the giant tortoise.  They make me feel kind of sad and uncomfortable.

I miss the meerkats. Odd the things you miss when you move countries. We didn't watch much tv during our recent trip to the UK, but the one time I saw them, I was happy.  ;D

I like the Music Magpie adverts, where the magpie shrieks 'BELTER!!!' when the guy gives him all his stuff.
