Kids' Visas
« on: October 24, 2006, 06:08:50 PM »
Well...the day has finally arrived. I sent off for the dependent visas for my older children that have been staying with their dad while we got settled and the flat came available. We move into the flat on 6th November, my daughter's 18th birthday, so we needed to apply before then. The notebook weighed almost a kilo when I mailed it to New York though. I added bunches of stuff they don't ask for...like a floor plan of the flat, retirement accounts, our family budget. Our fingers are double...triple crossed. I think I will have a suicidal young lady on my hands if anything went wrong. But this is the most straight forward application so far...so I think we should be fine. Just keep us in our thoughts. I'll update when I know more.

I am sure it will be fine but I know when your life (and even more so when your child's life) is in someone else's hand it is stressful!

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will go extremely smoothly!
