The application form says to include "Document(s) confirming that you have spent a continuous period of 5 years in the UK"

Which kind of documents are they looking for?

I've prepared all documents for my BF and now he's just waiting to interview date this wed coming(22/04/09) so we just sent them the letter of employment that just 2 letters for my BF 'cos he's been only 2 place over 5 years and i think your stemped visa in your passport can prove it also.

The HO still hasn't made any announcements about the new SET(O) regulations yet. Seems strange...

If anyone applies for ILR and is refused because they cannot get a letter from a previous employer, please contact me, and I will be happy to appeal the decision.  And I would expect success.  This is unlawful and unenforceable, and I am not bringing this into advice until I have seen or heard of it being substantiated through an unsuccessful case.
