American appliances in the UK

I found the following information about a company called the Graded Appliance shop and thought it might be useful.

Bringing the American dream to your kitchen

The Graded Appliance Shop
2 Bollo Lane
London W4 5LE

020 8995 3456

The Graded Appliance Shop is a new showroom at the beginning of Bollo Lane (Chiswick end). They specialise in 'General Electric' graded American fridge freezers selling them at really unbeatable prices due to their graded status.

For those not familiar with graded products this simply means they are end of line, transit marked or ex-display. This enables the company to sell them at as much as half the recommended retail retail price. All fully warranted.

American side by side fridge freezers are fast becoming as popular in English kitchens as they are in America and Europe and once you've tired one you'll never want to go back. With features such as filtered water, crushed ice, cubed ice, temperature controlled drawers, express thaw setting, spill proof shelves, the features just go on and on.

Also available on request: kitchen appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, cookers etc. in most major brands, both new and graded.

So if you are planning a new kitchen or just looking to upgrade, take a trip to THE GRADED APPLIANCE SHOP.

And the text of the example they show: -

Fully clad stainless steel with cubed and crushed ice and chilled water dispenser with refreshment centre

Normal price £2,800
Our price £990
Also available in black & white £790
Limited offer while stocks last

Hmm...will have to try to convince Steven to let me have a full-sized American appliance in my house.  Yep I'm a greedy American...who doesn't like a big refrigerator? hehehe :P  Guess he'll nix it as he's the chef out of the two of us. [smiley=chef.gif]  Doesn't hurt to try and maybe I'll even get my way...hehehe [smiley=bootyshake.gif] ;)

i'm drawing up the blueprints for the garden shed that will host my new big fat American fridge, the industrial-sized wash machine, and giant hot dryer!  *lol*  (that's what we'd have to do to fit that stuff in our home unfortunately... :-/  *sigh*)
