Hello,

I applied for an ILR visa by post on 27th July 2011 and received acknowledgement from the Croydon BA office on 02/08/2011 that my application was passed over to a caseworker unit. The application fee was debited from my bank account on 02/08 as well.

Subsequently i requested for my passport  to be returned to me for employment purposes on 15/09 and I received my passport and a letter from the liverpool office on 26/09. I return the passport to the liverpool office on 28/09 via special delivery and it was delivered to the liverpool office on 29/09.

My tier 1 visa expires at the end of November 2011, but the 14 week period from the acknowledgement is on 08/11  :-[. Its week 11 now.....
Has anyone who has applied during the same period in london received their ILR visas?

Week 12 tomorrow and I'm still waiting ........And to make matters worse you CANNOT check on the progress of your application after 14 weeks as this rule was changed last week by UkBA........they will ONLY provide info after they have had the application for a minimum of 6 MONTHS!!!! OH BOY! Guess I'll have to wait and see what this week has instore......... :(

Thanks!  SET(M).

9 weeks, congrats camoscato  :)

Mine's a SET O, 12th week no word yet... :-[

My existing Tier 1 general runs out in the last week of November.....If the ILR is rejected and I only hear back after my tier 1 expires, I can't reapply :-[

I’ve been following this forum for quite a while now. Submitted my ILR application (SET O) on 18 July 2011, received the UKBA confirmation letter on 21/07/2011 that my application is passed to their casework unit. Called them on the 07/10 for my application status but was being told to call back after 14 weeks. I called them back last week(14th week) and yesterday but got an automated respond – “all application for the last the 6 months..are subject to queries  .. statutory check..”  .. very disappointed and frustrated  :( with their service…  being paying taxes, council tax, live a quiet life and earning a living here as a professional for the past 5 years  :-[ Now, in the middle of packing all my stuff..  too frustrated to think.
