Turbo tax again
« on: March 17, 2008, 10:10:15 PM »
Ok, so I started the Turbo tax thing and it is very annoying.

So for my wages it is just my taxable gross for the year, yes?

But then do I need to enter taxes paid anywhere on the 1040?

It keeps trying to get information for a 1099 INT asking what country it is from, it is from the US but there is nowhere to enter that info.

It keeps saying I need 1116, I assume this is because I have no idea where to enter the amount I paid in UK taxes.

Or maybe not, I only earned like 6,000 pounds last year.  I don't want to file the 1116.

AHHHHH, I hate this!  I think it will be easier to do it myself on paper.  I did it last year, I just figured Turbotax would be easier.
