KFC mashed potatoes finally hallelujah!!
« on: June 24, 2019, 07:10:05 PM »
After living in the UK for 17 years our local kfc has finally added mashed potatoes to its menu as a side dish. I had them for the first time in years and they tasted just as good as I remembered one of the highlights of my day today !!

OMG, if they did the biscuits!  <droooooool>

Love them with honey.  Many sticky memories as a child.

Apparently it costs extra as gravy is a seperate side here.

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Stopped in to KFC and had some yesterday. Really nice and the portion was huuuge.  The only problem is how to fit it in with a normal KFC meal since it’s easily enough for two.

This is so awesome and yet so frustrating!  I've been to KFC just two or three times since I moved to the UK, and every time I was pleasantly surprised (better food than the ones I've been to back home), and annoyed (no potatoes & gravy).  Now they have mashed potatoes & gravy!  Now I have a reason to eat fast food!  I've been so good, mostly eating food I cooked myself.  This will ruin me!  :P

I really like those zinger wings for 99p, but with the wings AND mash and gravy and some actual fried chicken And then how can you not have a malteaser blizzard, it’s a bit much food

haha, we had KFC as well and I have to say my gravy was so hot, it burned my mouth and I couldn't taste them properly. I live up North and the funny thing is, we went sofa shopping and got asked where I'm from so I said Texas and the salesman said "wow, twice in one day" so I was pleasantly surprised. I agree if KFC can bring the biscuits and possibly mac n cheese, it would be a dream!

Funny enough, I just said the yesterday I wish KFC would bring biscuits back. Then my co workers lovingly made fun of me for wanting a scone with my fried chicken. Haha some of them even tried them in America and said they didn’t like them. HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE A KFC BISCUIT?!?!
