Is there a larger topic heading for Money matters?
« on: October 09, 2009, 09:21:45 AM »
Is there a section called "money matters" on here? My husband swears that there is. Although some monetary issues seem to be under the taxes folder, others seem to be scattered. But, I just wanted to check to see if I'm missing something.

Largely, I am curious because we're now in the process of buying a home here in the UK and I'm looking to read about people's experiences doing so. Also, how to transfer savings for the downpayment from the US? and trying to navigate the British process of buying a home? I have to get a solicitor, at this point, I think...

Also, in the long run of it, I'd like to hear how people confront the two-country-economies problem when saving for retirement. So, does this exist? Or where would I look?  Many thanks in advance.
