A Couple of questions before my appointment in NY
« on: June 19, 2005, 03:30:20 AM »
First of all I am applying for my fiancee visa.
I'm sorry for another question, I've tried callng the 900 number but they dont give me real answers. But my questions are as followed:

-Since my fiancee will be supporting me financially is he required to write out a planned budget?

-Also since his documents got lost in the mail for over 10 days and I had to reschedule my appointment his last bank statement is from late april/early may. but I do have a bunch of his paystubs and a letter from his employer stating salary and the amounts he's made in the past 8 weeks. Is a recent bank statement still required?
I have no bank account  of my own,
so I wont be able to provide one at the appointment.  Here is all I have: -

-His full birth certificate(he doesnt have a passport)
-A letter from him stating he will be fully supporting me and our daughter when she is born and that he is supportive of my visa
-A letter from his mum stating will be staying there temporarily and a certified copy of her lease from the council
-His paystubs
-His Bank statements up until late april/early may
-Letter from his employer
-Phone bills,pictures.
-text messages sent to each other since I've been here
-Emails from each other
-A letter addressed to me while I was staying there on my visiting visa
-My doctors notes from my 12 week pregnancy scan in Ipswich Hospital in the UK
-Train tickets from trips we took together while I was there and concert tickets as well
-My birth certificate
-My passport
-My flight tickets and return ticket to Uk
-My divorce certficiate
-My Delaware State ID
-Printed Application
-Email stating  fee has been paid for online
-My CV
-Copy of appointment date in NYC

This is all I need to bring right? Or am I forgetting something?
Again sorry for all the questions Just I am so stressed that I might be forgetting something

I received my fiancee visa through NY--- did not have a planned budget or bank statements. I did have letter from his employer and from mine (to show my ability to find work once we were married).

Don't worry too much --- it will be fine :). You look like you have all your ducks in a row.

I took way too much. I took everything on the list on the website, and some. I took his bank statements too phone bills. I don't think we needed them, but if you would rather be over prepared, go for it. I always feel the need to be over prepared in this situation.
