do they ALWAYS send a confirmation e-mail?
« on: September 06, 2008, 12:40:10 AM »
Okay.
So i got a call from the chicago consulate (FINALLY!) and this guy said i just had to fax in one of my documents and he'd send it today. :D He said i should get my visa by monday.
So i faxed it in RIGHT AWAY...i'm just wondering though if because I got the phone confirmation that he'd send it out, that it's sent? or do i have to wait for an e-mail confirmation? he said he was just waiting to put the final stamp on my visa...

I don't think they always send out confirmation emails...if he said you're approved upon receiving that document then I'd say you'll just have to wait for it to arrive. :)
