I passed my Life in the UK test today :-D PHEW!
I had a rather EPIC FAIL last month when I turned up to my test 10 minutes late (argh, traffic was desperately underestimated) and was refused entry. And even though there were testing spots available later in the day, due to the home office needs 7 days notice thing (even though I booked my test a month in advance AND IT WAS THE SAME DAY) I had to retreat in shame (and not a few tears).
Rescheduled for today, and I made it!!!! (Ironically, some dude showed up 30 minutes late and they still let him register and take the test, oh life).
Now all I have to do is go back to the US, live my life for another few months and apply for my ILE in February!!! (and take my national boards, and graduate from vet school, and continue preparing my four cats for their pets passport)
It's going to be a busy year!
