This is so petty but I hate my username lol it's an OLD email, I don't even know why I picked it but I can't get it to change.

She said she thought she'd be on UKY tomorrow. I'm sure she'll have a lot to say!
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I'm ignorant in this, but do they link?? My OH is so anti Facebook for the fact that he says the sell your info etc etc which I'm sure they do but I like to stay in touch. But he has whatsapp and uses it frequently.

Facebook owns Whatsapp.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WhatsApp

Facebook is listed as the developer, but my understanding is that it was only acquired by Facebook after its initial development.  I remember feeling relieved that I'd never created a Whatsapp account when I learned of the association.

I wonder if the admins can change it for you.  :/  Is there a name we can call you when we want to refer to you?

Now that you’ve posted that I do remember. That’s right about when hubby swore of Facebook. He gets why I’m on it, but man we’ve had some fights over Facebook due to what they do with information.

While you can’t change your original username yourself (though I think the admins can do it), you should be able to change the display name that shows up on all your posts.

Just go to ‘account settings’ and underneath your Username, there’s a box to change your display name:

We used to have a thread where you could post when you’d changed your display name so that everyone would know you were the same person. It hasn’t been updated in years though.

I haven't heard anything recently, but contact was made (a week ago?) on Facebook.  I think it was lyonaria who talked to her there?  No updates since.

Meanwhile, Rick, did your wife ever come home?  Did you find anything interesting in the parcels?  I hope we haven't disappointed you with the items you have to choose from.

Well, I have messaged AV repeatedly with no response. As far as disappointed? Not hardly! I will post my picks, but what does everyone say as far as skipping AV for now???

There’s no option but to skip unfortunately!

I agree.  Let's just bump her down the list, and keep bumping her until she shows up here.  She can be next whenever she comes back (if she still wants to play!).  Does that seem fair to everybody?

Seems like a good plan!
