What food are you craving right now?

I'm craving everything US that I miss. Mostly because I've been allowing myself to think about them since I'm going back to the US for 2 weeks next weekend!

I'm so excited. I'm going to eat a jar of claussen pickle spears all by myself in no time flat! Oh, and Wendy's burgers, and McAllister's Mac and Cheese, and my favourite Asian fusion joint's sesame chicken.

When we move to the UK I think I'll miss the "May Thai Vegan cafe" more than any other food

Just over a week ago we went and I had a Thai coconut curry with avocado - not exactly a "light" option, but one of the most delicious dinners I've ever had. We have to get back before we leave.

Really missing pulled pork from my favourite BBQ joint... oh and Qdoba burritos.  I am getting really good and recreating my favourites at home, although sometimes I can't quite get the ingredients I need.

Peanut butter twix would be nice. Then again I'm a bit bored rite now so looking for a pick me up.  A funnel cake from a fair would be nice ....

For me, I could go for some Red Vines. I have some at home now from my last trip back but I haven't opened the package yet - I'm waiting for an opportunity to share them with people who will appreciate them (DH isn't a fan).

Before this last trip back, we'd always get mango licorice from a candy shop near my grandma's. It was soooooo good but they've stopped carrying it. My grandma has asked about it and they said it's not being produced anymore and no one else makes mango licorice.

I could go for some chicken fajitas right now. No clue why, but really would love to have them right now. 

I was craving a nice, thick chocolate milkshake but I was able to get one at Waterstone's yesterday! I asked the girl behind the counter if their milkshakes were thick and she said she'd add more ice cream for me... so good!

All this strawberries and cream being served in my neck of the woods recently has prompted a craving for my local Amish market's Angel Food Cake.  Yum!  I looked up a recipe only to find a Mary Berry version that was *ick* frosted.  WHY?!

Last weekend we went to a new restaurant in Glasgow city centre called Bill's.  I had buttermilk blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and bananas and strawberries.  It was pretty darn nice, and that's what I'm craving this morning.

Currently craving a full English at the moment. Minus the black pudding, of course. And a tray of goodness from my fave Thai and Japanese stall in Camden.

It is going to be a while yet, thanks to postponing our trip (second year in a row we have rebooked our flights because Judas Priest announced dates after we booked flights. So, now we will be flying Nov 25 instead of Sept 30. Ages and ages to wait for the foods we want.

If you do an online shop from Ocado you can get them.  But I'll take a Costco hotdog everyday of the week.  YUMMM.

Many 'convenience stores' and petrol station shops do a hotdog called Rollover, which is (perhaps unexpectedly) really, really nice!  I usually have one once a week.
