What travel date did you request?

We requested March 26th. So we will see what window they gave.

How are things going with the dog, we have that to do as well, it's a minefield

Everything with the dog is taken care of. I go first thing in the morning to pick up the International Health certificate that has been signed by lord knows who in the state. It's been mailed all over. I don't know, the company just took care of all of that. Then we drive to Dallas right after that and he gets dropped off at their vet's office tomorrow before 6:00. He gets checked in at the airport at 4:00am. His flight is broken up into 2 flights so he can get out in Florida and get walked and watered and played with. Then its straight over to Heathrow!

I'm actually more concerned about shipping all of our stuff. There are forms I have to fill out and I haven't head back from them about the questions I submitted. Just hoping I can time everything right to get it sent off and still be able to visit my friend in Miami for a few days before leaving. It was all so slow and at a standstill and I have a feeling from now until we leave it's going to be a hurricane!

Hey all! I just recently applied for the spousal visa with priority service. Here is my current timeline:

Online application submitted:              Wednesday March 15, 2017
Biometrics appointment:                      Monday March 20, 2017
Documents sent with VFS UPS:            Tuesday March 21, 2017
Confirmation email from Sheffield:      Thursday March 23, 2017

And so the waiting begins!

It's just worrying.  My email confirmation was March 1 and now there are 3 decision emails that were after my date.  It has me wondering and fretting that something's wrong.

They do miss some decision made emails. Try not to stress too much

They don't always get to the applications in the exact order they were received - every application is different and you can't necessarily compare the processing time of one with another.

If it's anything like how the US Embassy processes applications, each ECO may get a separate pile of applications to work through at their own pace. It may be that yours is in a slower pile than other applications and it's taking one ECO a bit longer to work through them (I.e. Maybe there are some complicated applications ahead of yours in that particular pile).

Hi, all.  I'm happy to report that I received my confirmation email today.  Fingers crossed that it's an approval.  And fingers crossed this means your applications will be processed soon.  It's so very hard waiting. 

I'll post an update on Thursday once I receive my packet.  Good luck, everyone!

My decision email arrived this morning! Just a couple days of anxiety while waiting now- please send me good thoughts/prayers for an approval!

Arrived in Sheffield (UPS notification): March 6
Confirmation email from Sheffield: March 8
Decision made email: March 28
