FLRM Renewal
« on: December 17, 2023, 12:34:44 PM »
Hi,

I am getting my documents together for my FLRM renewal that I am submitting next month. My BRP expires January 14th and we are traveling to the US for Christmas and will be back in the UK on January 4th and will be submitting when we get back.

 I am emailing my work this week to get the employment verification letter and payslip verification process started and am asking for the letter for when I return so that it includes the December payslip. I started the job in February of 2022 and I do have a P60 for April 2022 but it's for such a little amount. Should I still include the P60?

Payslips and Bank statements are June 2023 through December 2023. The bank stopped sending paper statements so will go into the bank when we get back to get stamped and printed statements for November and December 2023 the rest I have from being sent in the mail.

Can someone please check my correspondence evidence below?

Letters from December 2021- December 2023
December 2021- Joint Water Bill
April 2022- S1- Bank Statements; S2- BT Bill
August 2022- S1- NHS letter; S2- BT Bill
December 2022- Joint Water Bill
April 2023- Joint Lloyd’s
August 2023- Joint Lloyd’s
December 2023- Joint Water Bill

Thank you!

The correspondence looks great. Everything else sounds good. Re. the P60, as you know it's not mandatory but on the extreme off chance that they did decide they wanted to see it, if you did provide it, it would be there. Other than that, it really doesn't matter.

Thank you @larrabee! For the payslips HR are saying they are happy to stamp copies I print out from online. Is this ok as an alternative to the online statements and it being included in the employment verification letter?

No, stamping them is not sufficient.

If they have issued online, whether printed or not, they MUST be accompanied by a letter confirming their authenticity. This can be included as part of the mandatory employer letter, to save you getting 2 letters.

From the official guidance (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-fm-se-family-members-specified-evidence):

(bb) Payslips must be:

(i) formal payslips issued by the employer and showing the employer’s name;
OR
(ii) accompanied by a letter from the employer, on the employer’s headed paper and signed by a senior official, confirming the payslips are authentic;

Hi @ksand24 thank you for the information! That's what I thought but it's reassuring to hear it from someone else.
