PSW and problem with maintenance funds!
« on: September 05, 2009, 07:17:42 PM »
My friend just finished University and will be applying for his PSW visa in October 2009.

He had the requisite 800 pounds in his savings account since August.  However, his bank wrote to him because the University debited his tuition payment from his current account earlier than agreed.  There was not enough funds in his current account (due to the Uni withdrawing the money early) , so the bank automatically withdrew money from his savings!    He found out today and immediately  topped up his  savings account to 800 pounds, however it did go below the HO requirement for 1-2 days.

Will his PSW automatically be refused?
Should he request a letter from the Uni explaining this was there error due to he early withdrawal and no fault of the applicant?
Should he do nothing and hope the HO does not notice?

Thanks in advance for the advice
