Where to apply for a credit card with no credit history?

Moved to the UK about a little over a year ago and would like to start building my credit score but obviously finding it difficult trying to apply for a credit card with no credit history.

Try your bank. I'd guess you opened your account in the early days of U.K arrival, so they'll have known you at least. You'll get a low credit limit, but max it out each month and pay it off in full. It won't be long until that limit becomes a lot higher. If you do find problems, go into the bank in person, you'd get a better response then to on-line applications. You can explain better then 'box' filling.
