FLR M Payslips for non-salaried employment
« on: March 11, 2022, 03:45:28 PM »
Hello

I am applying for FLR M for myself and I will be using my husband's income. I am a bit confused about financial requirements, particularly payslips. So my husband is on non-salaried employment (fixed hourly rate), he is paid monthly and he has been with his employer for over 6 months. His payslips are issued on the 28th of each month. Each payslip has 'pay period' section that shows just the month and year (e.g. Nov 2021) and 'pay date' which also shows the date (e.g. 28 Nov 2021)

So at the moment I have:

Pay period, pay date, gross pay:
Aug 2021, 28 Aug 2021, £1843.83
Sep 2021, 28 Sep 2021, £1843.83
Oct 2021, 28 Oct 2021, £1843.83
Nov 2021, 28 Nov 2021, £2269.83
Dec 2021, 28 Dec 2021, £1773.88
Jan 2022, 28 Jan 2022, £1926.25
Feb 2022, 28 Feb 2022, £1316.75

I am planning to apply within the next 2 weeks. From what I understand document requirements for non-salaried employment are the same as for salaried, the only difference is how the gross annual is calculated.

So my question is do I need to include August payslip? Technically pay period Sep 2021 - Feb 2022 make 6 months and the pay date is when the money has been paid and with August it makes 7 months? But if I don't include it would it mean that period between 28 Aug and 28 Sep stays uncovered and visa will be refused? If I need to include it, how do I calculate the annual gross income with 7 months? I'm also a bit confused about annual gross salary in the letter from the employer. What does employer need to put in the letter if my husband doesn't have fixed amount and gets paid for the amount of hours he does?

Thank you very much.
