Email from UKVI Day After Biometrics
« on: March 31, 2022, 06:33:03 PM »
Hi Guys!

So I am doing a Settlement visa for my son ( I am in the US), I already have my UK spouse visa, so does my 2-year-old, and my husband is a brit. I am barely doing my son's application as he is a newborn, so I gave birth here in the US back at home > hence going back to the UK now. So I did my son, the applicant's biometrics, yesterday at the Application support center, at 2 pm and I already got an email this morning saying:

Subject: Your Visa Application: VAF XXXX
Dear XXXXXXXXX

Regarding Visa Application: GWFXXXXXXXX

Thank you for your online application which has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

PLEASE NOTE: This email is to acknowledge receipt of your Settlement application, if you or your sponsor have not already submitted supporting documentation please ensure you follow the process listed below: UKVI is unable to consider your application without these documents.

Please ensure that your supporting documents are submitted within 5 working days of this email.

Can you or your sponsor/Rep send your settlement visa application along with supporting documents to New York at the following address:

UK Scan Hub
145 West 45th Street
Floor 5
New York
NY 10036

>>>>>> I've done this settlement visa like 3 times and I have never received this email the day after, I am doing NON PRIORITY, as Priority is not available b/c the Ukraine situation - Surely this is a mistake? <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Any thoughts?

Thanks  ???

Welcome.

Presumably your son is not a UKC?
Don't worry about the email, that's a good thing!

Hi @larrabee , thanks for your message! Yes so
My husband - British/ Australian
Son - Australian - UK visa ending  Oct 2022
Me - American UK visa ending Oct 2022
Newborn son - American UK visa which we applied for.

Im really stressed something might go wrong idk why. So When I did the application it did not make me pay an IHS fee, so idk if that's due to my 3months old age, or because they know we are going to reapply for all 3 of our visas once we are in the UK and pay a nasty IHS/NHS fee  :o
Also, we used cash shavings as our evidence, which we have for all our visas in the past but this time our accountant in Australia forgot to ask for a bank stamp, so idk how picky they are about that. OTHERWISE, we have a strong case. Im just so paranoid about everything. because its a huge move for my 2 little ones and me again.
