hi again!
one more question for a UK skilled worker visa application. there is a small sub-section on the UK govt site about 'documents you'll need' that says you need a 'certificate of residence' for any country you've lived in for more than 12 months in the past 10 years:
"If you’re 28 or over, you’ll need a certificate from any country you’ve stayed in over the last 10 years."
https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/documents-you-must-provide [nofollow] But i have no idea what that "certificate" is or how one would get it. Does anyone have any experience with that? I tried to get a 'certificate of residency' via a government site, but that seems only for tax purposes and one requirement is having income in another country to get it (at least where i live). I think I'd need a more general certificate of residence, but no idea how. I wonder if my visa, or current employer statement, would suffice? I am an American abroad.
thank you in advance for any info!
