In the FLR-M application it states that I need to provide:

"Items of correspondence sent the same address as evidence you have been living together since your last grant of leave in this category, or from the date you first started living together, covering the last 2 years".

As per usual, clear as mud !!!

So does the mean that I need provide correspondence from just the past 2 years, or do I need provide correspondence to cover the whole 2 and a half year period since I was last granted leave to remain ?

For FLR(M), you cover a maximum of 2 years, so it’s whichever is shorter:
- your last grant of leave
Or
- 2 years

In this case, your last grant of leave was 2.5 years ago, so the 2 years is shorter.

Therefore, you provide the following:
- 1 item of mail in each of your names going back 2 years
- they must be evenly-spaced which means they need to be dated every 4 months
- the mail must be from at least 3 different official sources
