Hello. I am am planning to submit my citizenship app based on marriage and ILR after 16 years here I stopped work last December (can't get a job now because I wasn't aware of the Biometric card requirement and decided to go for citizenship and be done with it) Technically I am self-employed doing the odd little home maintenance job, but I likely won't meet the threshold for self-assessment and even if I do, I won't have any records yet and may very well retire at the beginning of 2023 anyhow.
Amazing how I can make a simple app complicated, yeah?
Does anyone know how to deal with not having a P45 or self-assessment return for this year? Or will this year not be considered as it hasn't yet finished?
