Citizenship application and EU settled status

Hello all,

I am an American - EU dual national.  After more than 11 years living in the UK, I have finally decided to aply for British citizenship.  I read a few months ago that citizenship applications using EU settled status usual take longer to be decided than those using ILR from work or spouse visas.  (I can't remember where I saw this though).

Has anyone applied for citizenship with EU settled status recently and how long did it take to get a decision please?

This forum seems to be mainly those who have been sponsoered to the UK by a partner. e.g. Family Member of an EEA citizen or British citizen. I assume you were an EU citizen before 1 January 2021?

   I'm an American who had EU settled status and then applied for UK citizenship.  Sorry, I'm horrible with dates so can't remember how long it actually took, but it didn't seem unusually long.   Piece of cake.
