Check application type after applied
« on: October 18, 2022, 09:24:07 AM »
Is there a way to check the type of application you applied under?  My intention was to apply for ILR, when I try to access my application all I see is Set(M).  I received an email yesterday about biometrics, this time stating IDV app ID information was insufficient but the email came from FLRMBiometricenrolment@homeoffice.gov.uk and now I am panicking that I mistakenly applied under the wrong Set(M) application because it's from "FLRM"  How do I verify what I applied under? I have tried to call but I can't find an option to reach a live agent.

SET(M) is correct - it’s the name of the form used to apply for ILR.

The SET part stands for Settlement… and Settlement = permanent residence = ILR.

Googling SET(M):

Thanks Ksand, feeling a little better.  After the two biometric emails after completing the ID app I am just a bit on edge waiting for the worst.  I paid £2404 which I think is the right fee for ILR so that kind of calmed me, but that FLRM email really has me second guessing everything and worried I completed the wrong application  :-\\\\

Kind of annoyed about getting biometrics request after two months of having completing the app process after receiving the invite.  I was able to get a free appointment but it's not until Nov. 14, and an hour away from us as that's the closest.
 Could try to go to Leeds location which has appointments this month but it's 3 hour round trip journey and there is no guarantee it would speed anything up :(.

It’s just an email address - doesn’t mean anything.

That is the correct fee and the correct application form.

If you had accidentally applied for FLR instead, you would have paid £1048 plus £1560 in IHS surcharge.

ILR is £2404 with no IHS surcharge.
