Citizenship verification checks consent form
« on: October 18, 2022, 06:22:59 PM »
Hi all,

I've just submitted my application for naturalization, and I am a bit confused about which parts of the verification checks consent form I need to get signed. Do my referres need to sign part of this? Or do I just sign the first form as the applicant.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Consent Forms (not referee forms):

On our application.  Applicant signed Page 1.
Sponsor (husband) signed Page 2 as joint owner of info and property.
Sponsor (husband) signed Page 3 as financial sponsor.

I am fairly sure this is right. If it is incorrect I am sure they will get in touch....

Almost correct.

Part 1 =  should be signed by applicant

Part 2 = should be signed by sponsor

Part 3 = should not be signed by anyone as third party financial sponsorship is not allowed for the visa
(though I don’t think it will be an issue if the sponsor did sign it)

Part 3 is for the situation where someone other than the applicant or sponsor (such as another family member) is providing financial support… but this is generally not allowed anyway.
