I think getting a new letter would be the best and safest option.

We’ve seen people be refused before because there was a £0.01 difference between amounts on their financial documents, so personally I wouldn’t risk not getting a new letter.

As long as it is dated on or before the date you submit the online application, it should be fine. You just need to be sure that you will be able to pick it up in time for biometrics.

I submitted last night (managed to get super priority and a free biometrics appointment), so I’ll make sure the letter is dated accordingly!

Does the rest of my evidence list look ok?

Doubts are creeping in, which is what happened last time too so is probably to be expected somewhat!

If it makes you feel any better, getting a very precise letter definitely made me feel better about my ILR application. The payroll company my husband's job used were horrendous - when he got a raise, they paid him the correct amount but the hourly rate was wrong for the first 3 months. So we had HR write a letter addressing it. This was in addition to the regular employment letter, but I suppose you could do it together. But I got my ILR, so I think its probably good to cover all bases when finances are involved.

Thanks to everyone who talked some sense into me about a new letter - it's corrected, signed, and uploaded!

One weird thing has come up in the uploading that I don't know if other people have experienced: some documents aren't showing a preview when I upload them. The file is there, but I can't see the preview (it's just blank). Is this something to worry about, or as long as the files are showing as uploaded is it ok?

If you forget anything you can upload them until the day of the appointment, the people at biometrics will submit them through to UKVI.

Sorry I'm not feeling very well so not able to review the doc list, just wanted you to know there is technically a bit more time if you need it.

Not that I could find, and you don't get to see whole form at once as you fill it in - you have to click through the various questions, one section at a time.

Anyone have any thoughts on my above list... ? Just trying to get all my ducks in a row and realised I've never actually had someone tell me that I've done this right!
