ILR documents question
« on: July 02, 2023, 01:43:09 PM »
Hi all, in the final straight and applying for ILR on the 5 year route. A couple of questions if we may:
1. If we apply in the first week in July do we need evidence documents (post) for that month or is up to June ok?
2. For all of the supporting documents (mail (proof I’ve been residing with husband at current address)) which months should I be supplying?
I first entered the UK on 22/7/2018, my current BRP is valid until 24/12/23 and was issued on 26/5/21.
Thanks in advance.

June is fine, since it's unlikely you will have received any mail for July before you apply.

You'll want to use the following months, covering 2.5 years (which I know is longer than the time since your last visa was issued, but we usually recommend sending a full 2.5 years anyway):

December 2020
May 2021
October 2021
March 2022
August 2022
January 2023
June 2023

Always another question …we got lucky and found a super priority slot. Is it possible for the service point to scan the documents using this sped up route or must we do it ourselves prior?

You can either scan and upload your documents yourself or you can add the scanning service to your biometrics appointment for about £55.

Same goes for the document checking service, which can be added for about £50.

So sorry, possibly a little late to be asking but ILR page 9 relationship details asks “Are you currently married or in a civil partnership? Given all the partnership and marriage questions we’d already answered on page 8, we assumed this meant in addition to our own and answered no. Now second guessing ourselves and wondering is this correct? If it isn’t given we’ve already submitted the application, can we remedy it?
