Taking extra long for result?
« on: October 13, 2023, 05:15:06 PM »
Hi! I had my ILR processed on 23rd August. I got a confirmation they got my materials. Should I be concerned on the wait? Seems like all my other visas were quicker even in the height of Covid. Wondering if this has been the norm lately. Thanks!x

Your FLR visas were processed faster because they have a processing standards time of only 8 weeks.

On the other hand, ILR has a processing standards time of 6 months... so if you submitted everything on 23rd August, it could take until 23rd February 2024 to be processed.

Earlier this year, ILR was being processed much faster than normal (within a few weeks), but it seems like it's slowing down a bit now. In the past, the average ILR processing time has been around 4 months or so.

I went for biometrics and materials submitted on August 10th and I just got my approval yesterday! Don't worry, I think it's around 8 weeks right now, likely due to summer holidays.

I submitted August 15th and heard back today, October 31, with the approval. According to an online calculator, that's 10 full weeks.
