Life In The UK Test Registration Question
« on: July 18, 2023, 12:22:38 PM »
Hey all!

I'm about to register for the Life in the UK test in preparation for applying for ILR in a couple months, and I have a question regarding the information they want.

So, I was born in Anaheim, California.

My Biometric Residence Permit says "ANAHEIM, CALIFOR" on the back, I assume to save space, which I believe the documentation said not to worry about as names etc may be "cut off."

So my question is, since the test registration stresses how important it is that everything matches, do I register my birthplace online as "Anaheim, Califor" so it's exact, even though that's not a real place, or do I include "Anaheim, California" since that's the proper name, but not exactly matching the BMP?

Sorry if this is a silly question, and thanks in advance.

I think it would be okay to put it as "Anaheim, California"

Good luck with the test and the preparations for it.
