So I have a couple more questions that I hope someone will be able to help me with.
My husband is a UK Citizen, I'm a US citizen, and I think I am applying for a settlement visa (spousal). My husband went back to the UK 4 months ago to try to get a home and stuff set up for us.
Questions:
1)Regarding VFS Global - I'm looking under settlement visa options and am I correct in seeing only 2 options?
Those being either "Premium Settlement Package" which is $2,200 or "Standard Settlement Package" which is $1,320.
Considering the price difference, is there an actual difference in how long it takes for the visa application to be processed? OR anything else?
It doesn't seem like there's enough of a difference to rate the $880 difference?
Also, there was a section under premium services that was listed as: "Priority Visa for settlement or migration service" which is an additional $764 USD.
It reads like it simply speeds up the process (without?) the extra hoo-has of the "Premium Settlement Package" Do I have that correct?
This is the link for reference:

2) Financial Requirements:So I know that it states that "partner with no children or no children who are subject to the income requirement – £18,600"
(Mine is coming from the savings from having sold our house here in the US)
But I'm unclear on how many years worth (£18,600x?) of savings/financial support has to be available to be considered for the application/visa?
3) Proof of Accommodation I thought I read somewhere as well that I need to show proof of where I'll be living/ or accommodation of some kind? I don't have anything but my husband does have copies of his council tax bill -- is it possible that would be acceptable?
I'm sorry if these all seem like no-brainer questions but I want to make certain I'm on the right track with this before I go to the UKGov website and start!
