ILR Document Checklist Help
« on: September 10, 2023, 05:25:49 PM »
Hello folks! I'm about to start the application for my ILR (Set M), and I'd greatly appreciate any feedback on whether or not the document list looks good/complete etc. Please and thank you. :)

I entered the UK on Aug 4th, 2018, and we're using my wife's income requirements. I'm planning on starting the application today or tomorrow (the 10 or 11th of September).

Here's what we've got scanned & prepped to upload:

Full scans of our passports (mine and hers)
Certified marriage certificate
8 months of her bank statements from Jan to Aug 2023, all certified.
8 months of her payslips from Jan to Aug 2023
Her P60
Her employment contract
Employment letter with job details
Letter from her work verifying the P60 and her payslips
Signed sponsor declaration form
Part 1 & 2 signed consent for the Home Office
My BRP
Land Registry for our current address (she owns the house with a friend, and he has signed a Part 2 signed consent form and included a signed accommodation consent letter).
Latest mortgage statement (January 2022)
Mortgage renewal letter (March 2023)
Latest Council Tax bill
My Unique Reference Number (URN) of my Life in the UK test. I'm guessing I just need to supply the number somewhere in the application, and it's not a document I need to scan and include?
To be included once I complete the application: Printed BRP appointment confirmation/code

Correspondence/Proof of cohabitation:

March 2021: Bank statement (mine)
March 2021: Bank loan statement (hers)

August 2021: Bank statement (mine)
August 2021: Sky internet bill (hers)

January 2022: Bank statement (mine)
January 2022: Bank statement (hers)

June 2022: Credit card statement (mine)
June 2022: Car insurance letter (hers)

November 2022: Credit card statement (mine)
November 2022: Bank statement (hers)

March 2023: Council Tax in both names

August 2023: Virgin internet bill (mine)
August 2023: Bank statement (hers)

Does all of this look OK, I hope?

And a question: we're thinking of using the "priority service" when we apply - I've heard that you need to check around midnight/1AM in order to grab a slot before they're gone for the day. How does that work? I'm assuming we go to the final "pay all of these fees" section of the application, and if no slots are available, we come back the next day and refresh the page etc?

I said this during my FLR application thread, but I'd again like to extend my gratitude to the folks who take time out of their day to help ease the stress and uncertainty of the application process. It's been a huge help, and we probably wouldn't have managed without it. So, thank you!
