I-130 medical examination
« on: June 26, 2023, 07:45:31 PM »
Hi all
Well it looks like the I-130 application is getting closer informed today one week left before next stage which appears to be getting a medical exam.  One of the items under the check list mentions it requires evidence of my immunisation that I have. I presume that means from child hood (I’m now 52).  Would anyone know if that is easy to get. Do you just contact your GP to gain such information?    Thanks I’m advance.

Your GP should have a complete record of your vaccination history within your NHS records. I can actually access my entire vaccination history whenever I want using the app for my GP Surgery on my phone (I signed up for online access with the surgery).

In fact, I just had to look up my vaccination record at work this morning as I needed it for the paperwork for my upcoming overseas tour.

Hi

Thanks for reminder about  the app

I did just go into mine and found in records it does have my vaccinations in there.  Just have to scroll down 400 records!  Pity it doesn’t have a section for those alone.    Doesn’t look like an option to print from the nhs app that I can find yet.   Once I know more when my appointments are closer I May have to ask GP receptionist to print. If they will!

It can take up to 30 days for the NHS records requests, so I'd recommend doing that sooner than later. They should be able to print just the vaccination history.

Hi - not a comment on the medical exam but just wondering if you could share your timeline?  My husband's I-130 started in Marcy 2023 and I am just curious of the wait times.  He had a green card several years back and it only took 6 months from petition starting.  We gave his green card up when we moved back here.  Obviously a different world now but just wondering on current timeline. Thanks!

Hi

We applied November 2022, it said it would be about 9 months.   Then when checking the application 6-8 weeks ago it said it should be close now.   Checking now in the feedback section it says taking longer than expected!.   So so far November - September....

This link may possibly be of some help on the timeline. It looks like it does depend on where one files.
