ILR financial documents
« on: November 07, 2023, 05:36:32 PM »
My husband is about to begin his ILR application and we need to clarify one point on the financial documentation.

We meet the financial requirements with Social Security benefits and will be submitting a statement from Social Security Administration showing that we satisfy the threshold. We're not clear how many months of bank statements we should include to show the funds having been deposited into our account. And do we need to submit every page of them or just the page showing the relevant deposit?
(Also, since the amount fluctuates monthly - depending on exchange rate - I assume this doesn't have to be explained when submitting the application for the ILR?).

Guidance we've read indicates seven months of bank statements are required to prove income from work -- is it the same standard for SSA payments (we've both been receiving them for more than a year).

Many thanks
