I'm British and my wife and son are dual US/UK citizens. We plan on moving to the US end of next year. How far out would you advise on me starting my Green card application?

Are you referring to the i-130 followed by the ds-260 process?

If so, you likely won't be able to get through it all in time to move by the end of 2024.  The processing times for the i-130 alone are just about a year at the moment, plus you're talking another 3-4 months for the consular process to play out.  I guess there are people that get lucky and it happens faster for them, so maybe you'd be one of those fortunate ones...

Is there a fast track process for spouses of US citizens? If both the US citizen and spouse are living overseas do they have wait until the spouse gets the green card?
