Apprenticeship asking for Spouse’s Passport and Marriage Certificate

Hiya,

I’m about to start an apprenticeship and I’ve already supplied a share code as well as my current and previous BRP. They are now asking for my marriage certificate and my spouse’s passport. Is this normal? Do I need to supply them with that or should my share code and brps be enough?

Well, I can tell you that I certainly never had anyone ask for a marriage certificate or my spouse’s passport. Just my opinion but I think they are way out of line. Your BRP shows your right to work.
