Citizenship Approved!
« on: September 23, 2024, 10:34:32 AM »
OMG! I am finally done - I am a British Citizen!!
Nearly 13 years in the making - if you count my previous residency in the UK.

I want to thank all the experts on here who have helped me along the long and winding road and kept me sane! You guys are the best  [smiley=smitten.gif]
To all of you out there going through the process, just do whatever they say to the letter and you will be golden!

I say this with only the greatest admiration - I am so grateful that I will never need your advice about visas ever again  :)
However, US taxes is another kettle of fish so may still be knocking about on that thread!

Thank you so very much - you guys are superstars!

Well, after 6 years, you must have learned how to stand in orderly queues and how to grouse about the weather (regardless of what the weather is doing). Otherwise, you surely would not have been accepted.

Congrats.
And welcome.
A quick warning of one of the downsides: now you'll have to actually read all the political flyers that get dropped through your letterbox.

Cheers

Hey @watersfam

Do you remember what you answered for the following question on the application form?

Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?
I'm not sure what to answer here. It's no. Or is it yes because we've applied for FLR(M) and ILR(M)?

Thanks,
J
