ILR Timing Query

Hi all!

My husband moved to the U.K. on the 21st of April 2021 and his spousal visa was approved on the 25th of March 2021.

Am I right that he can apply for ILR 28 days BEFORE the 21st of April 2021 as this is when he moved to the U.K.? His recent spousal renewal was in December 2023 and says he has permission to stay in the U.K. until 12th July 2026, so just trying to make sure I have the dates right for this!

He can apply 5 years (minus 28 days) after he moved here.  So 28 days before 21st April 2026.   
Get his Life in the UK test done asap.  It's the only bit which is outside your/his control and while it is a faff, it only really becomes a problem if you leave it late.
