How do I log into my digital biometrics card

Hello, I am having trouble easily logging into my digital id card. I have the app but it does not seem straightfoward on how to get to my digital id quickly. The last time I logged in I had to show it for a new job and I went through so many hoops. I want to just be able to pull it up easily but do not understand how to do this seamlessly.

It should be as simple as just logging into your UKVI account... as long as you have already linked your e-visa to your account - which it sounds like you have, if you had to get a share code to give to your employer.

As far as I know, when you log into your UKVI account, your e-visa should just be there for you to view.
