Same thing happened to us, Saf. If you're going to send documents to the US, send them by courier or just regular post. Otherwise they do tend to get lost for some reason!
SAF, have you called the airport where the package was received into the US? Given your location, I'd wager it was Miami, which is where our documents went walk-about for a long time too. (And we had done the tracking thing as well thinking that would help things....but it definitely didn't!)
I've got about 20 different numbers I was given for different customs people and departments at Miami International if you want them. (They have clearly been trained to pass the buck at that place.) I raised absolute hell for a few days with those people trying to find Hamish's passport and whatnot. They kept saying they couldn't find it, and when I finally spoke to one of the more senior people and let off some steam about it, it miraculously showed up in my mailbox the very next day! Talk about trauma tho!
