Hi Everyone!
I'm Mary. I'm a dual-citizen of the U.K. (thanks to my British mother), and I'm looking to move to London as soon as possible. Hopefully in the next few months. I have spent the last 3+ years living and working in Manhattan -- over two of those years for public television.
So -- I am madly networking for a television job in London. Most likely looking for PA work. Hoping that my dual-citizenship will pave the way, but terrified I won't be able to find anything. I am in a serious long-distance relationship with a PhD student at Oxford, and desperate to be closer to him. I am also weary of New York and very ready for a change of scenery. The Bush re-election sort of sealed the deal for me too!
Let me know if anyone has any advice or can refer me to friends who already work in television there.
