John Lewis or Dixons? Ebay or Pricerunner? HELP!

They don't have the tv I want at Argos; I did find an online shop that in total is £50 cheaper than John Lewis, but I've never ordered from something like that before... and will need to call to make sure they have it in stock before I pay for it (many customer reviews saying that's the only downside).
I GOTTA have a TV before the OSCARS!!  And of course, before the BAFTAS would be nice too.

If I remember correctly John Lewis will beat the cheapest price.  Ask them.  Show them proof of the lower price and see what they will do.  I have no issues with any of the places.

JL wins my loyalty, again.  They answered every question I had, with patience and a smile, I hung up, ordered online, got a notice saying they would call within 7 days to schedule a delivery date and time, and they called within the hour people!!

Modified to say - I realise what the big deal about it was now.  This is the first 'BIG' purchase I've made since I've been here; I haven't bought anything that I've needed to 'commit to', if you will. 
So, guess I'm stayin'.

Well, I won't have it time for that; but, the OSCARS.... yes!!!!!

They said they'd deliver it between 3 and 9pm; they arrived at 4.

Didn't realise I had to put together the stand myself, but I'm now watching my OWN telly!  And it is indeed a beaut!
