help with new visa and passport

hi all long time since i posted on here.
wondering if anyone can help me out here
i have a double whammy here
my passport and visa expire almost the same time!!!
the passport i understand i need to get thru the us embassy in london, anybody have any experience with this and what to expect?
my visa Flr is expiring i believe i need the Ilr next (indefinite leave visa), question is which?
i looked at homeoffice site and theres a few, i'm married to a uk citizen (came on fiance visa) but i cant seem to find the form i need
any help and assistance is greatly appreciated

You would apply for ILR using the SET(M) form 23 months after you were issued the spousal visa.

If there's a crunch, I would suggest using your current passport.  The ILR does not need to be in the newest passport.
