Son's loose tooth
« on: March 08, 2005, 12:54:58 AM »
Exciting news!  My six year old (seven next month) finally has his first loose tooth!

It's his bottom front one, on the left.  He said he just noticed it wobbling a bit on Saturday and we've confirmed that it's definitely loose.  We're all very excited.  A big deal for one who's six!

The thing is, what's the duration of a loose tooth until it actually falls out?  We don't seem to know, and I can't remember!

I had better contact the Tooth Fairy and see if she's still in business.  ;)

Not sure.  It took my niece a week and a half after her tooth became loose to lose it.  And the tooth fairy did come, so she is definitely still in business. ;)

Brett just turned 7 and has lost his bottom two teeth so far and one of his top ones is loose now. I think the kids tend to wiggle them because it drives them crazy and then it just falls off in their hand. That has been my experience with my two eldest sons.
Right now little Jack Jack has 4 teeth coming in all at once so he's a drool monster. :o
